Bone broth is the basic Paleo and AIP superfood. It’s full of nutrition and delicious too. We love a cup of chicken bone broth here – and so do the cave kids. It’s a great ritual for them. We also use it as a basis in our ‘Mom’s chicken soup’ which the kids devour.
Before founding the Paleo Broth company, Stephen was a professional chef travelling and cooking all over the world. It wasn’t until health issues forced him to look at his diet that he discovered Paleo. Now he makes this amazing chicken bone broth (and others) and has never looked back. His chicken bone broth is made using free range chickens with a pinch of Himalayan crystal pink salt. Slowly simmering the chicken bones in stainless steel pots for a minimum of 24 hours means he creates the most deliciously rich and full flavoured broth which is also deeply nourishing.
A note on the chickens:
Stephen uses free range, slow maturing natural breeds which live for a minimum of 13 weeks (as opposed to the lifespan of the commercial chicken breeds), they have permanent access to pasture allowing them to range freely in small groups. No chemicals or hormones are used in the farming of the land or the raising of the birds and they are provided with a free range indoor grain which is GM free. They also full access to natural pasture outside all day.
Important Storage Information:
Please keep your broth refrigerated & use within 5 days once defrosted. Our frozen broth can be kept frozen up to 6 months, just remember always defrost your broth in the refrigerator.
